The Hospital is a 50+bed acute-care facility; the only hospital in the county, it has a primary service area of approximately 28,000 county residents and a secondary market from surrounding counties accounting for an additional 15,000. Medical staff specialties include anesthesiology, cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, radiology, urology, podiatry, neurology, family practice, general dentistry and a surgery department offering general, orthopedic and neurosurgery.
The Community
With a population of approximately 28,000, there is a multitude of social activities. Professional and college sports are a short drive away in nearby family friendly communities. Three public school corporations serve the area. Continuing education programs are also offered to students and adults.
