Anesthesiologist - VA

Join a group of 2 Anesthesiologists! An interest in pain management would be a plus, but is not required. No fellowship training would be necessary. There are 7 CRNAs in the group as well. The current anesthesiologists supervise 5 CRNAs at a time. The call schedule will be 1:2. The CRNAs take the 1st call and the anesthesiologists take the 2nd call. CRNAs perform labor epidurals. Anesthesiologist - WI

Two board certified/eligible anesthesiologists are needed to join a department of five anesthesiologists along with five CRNA’s at a multispecialty group/healthcare network. 200+ physicians and associate providers, serving a patient population base of 240,000. The Anesthesiology Department covers all surgeries except for heart cases. Through November 2003, an average of 465 surgeries were performed per month in 2003. Surgical specialties include general, vascular, thoracic, urology, orthopedics, obstetrics-gynecology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, neurosurgery and podiatry. New members of the department should be interested in a general Anesthesia practice. There is also the potential for working with one of our anesthesiologists in a limited pain management practice. The anesthesiologists are responsible for supervising the CRNA’s. The anesthesiologists take 24-hour in-house call, and this is shared equally among the anesthesiologists. This position also offers the opportunity to teach CRNA students in our accredited two-year program. Inquire about this position.
