A private group of six highly motivated, energetic general Internists of nationally renowned training seeks to add an associate. This group is in a unique position as members of the Society of Hospital Physicians and the ""Hospitalists"" at the Medical Center, a 255 bed state of the art acute care facility, that is located one hour northwest of Charolotte NC, as well as providing highly respected outpatient care to a thriving practice that has recently moved into a completely new office facility.
The appropriate candidate/associate would fill a role in the practice that could be tailored to his/her ambitions. Ideally, a new associate could begin as a full-time hospitalist - taking call about every 6th night and working 36 - 40 hours per week in the inpatient setting. Gradually a pattern of increasing outpatient responsibility (following patients whose care was initiated in the hospital) could be embarked upon with an eventual goal of matriculating into a practice which is similar to the current group principles. (Sorry, this is not a J-1 or HB-1 VISA opportunity.)
