BS/BA w/ RHIA (preferred) or RHIT certification and 3-5 yrs. experience; Excellent verbal/written communication & computer skills. Leads planning, directing & managing HIM dept./staff to assure quality service 24/7 basis. Establishes dept/ goals per the hospital's mission, goals, objectives. Plans, supervises, coordinates overall dept. activities to meet established goals. Develops/administers dept. budget/policy, & procedures/standards for productivity & quality.
