QA Tester - St. Louis, MO

Description: Client has established an internal test consulting team.  This team, the Management Systems Group Test Center (MTC), provides a “pool” of test analysts who are deployed to development projects within the IT area.  MTC is currently looking for test analysts who have experience on a variety of technology platforms (web, client-server, mainframe, SAP), development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile programming), and business domains (finance, logistics, telecomm, supply chain, distribution, transportation, marketing and sales) in a fluid, dynamic environment.
The successful candidate, working with a project team leader, will be involved in test planning and preparation, generating test cases and scripts, reporting upon and coordinating test activities.  They will also be responsible for execution of test scripts, recording results in a defect tracking tool, providing general mentoring on sound testing practices.
The candidate must be a team player and work well with other IT professionals in a project environment.  The candidate should possess good communications skills and be able to deal with customers of the Information Technology department within the business. 

Accounting Project Manager - Long Beach, CA

This is an exciting, newly-created position that will report directly to the VP Finance/Controller.  The position will interface with all departments in the company and be in charge of special projects involving the redesign of the general ledger and product line systems/reporting.  Ideally, this candidate should have 3-5 years of accounting experience (CPA or public experience a plus) and also be IT/systems savvy.  The candidate does not need to be an IT guru, just know their way around accounting systems/servers or have been through a system conversion in the past.  This person should have a good accounting background, but be more oriented toward big picture projects & accomplishments.  Although this is a health care company, the position  is open to a person from any industry background if they have the right mix of skill sets.  Rate and relocation is negotiable.

Description: Overview - The candidate will be responsible directing a development team to create a transactional messaging network for the client. This network will import and export revenue transactions, tracking and monitoring data in and out of the client’s new Transaction Reporting System (TRS). There are two distinct phases to this project: 1. An effort is already underway to develop a short-term custom application to import and track collection data from a single source. A second release is planned to export data to one or two other sources. A very capable project team is already assembled and functioning. The current PM is moving to another project within the program. 2. The project team will participate in the selection of COTS products (e.g., EAI, ESB) to provide a scalable long-term solution to the systems integration challenges.
